The preserve is a great place to walk and jog. The trails are all paved and are layed out more like a track than trails. they all intersect in the center allowing you to change up your path as you go around. There are usually others there walking the trails and enjoying nature. Everyone tends to say hello as you pass.

The Bayport-Blue Point library has setup sign posts were they put pages from kids books in so as you walk you can read a story going from station to station.

Also it looks like they recently had a event there where they held a sidewalk chalk drawing contest called the William’s Chalk the Walk. I will include photos of some of them.

The site is also host to a Little Free Library free book exchange.

The Blue Point Veterans Memorial Park is located on the eastern most point of the park.
