Rocky Point Driving Range

Abandoned Rocky Point Driving Range. the location is also the site of the Rocky Point Drive In Theater. Which I have another blog post for. The range is just before the Rolling Oaks Golf Course on 25a when heading east you will see the sign for the old drive in marking the entrance which is blocked off. It is on the North side of 25a opposite the Rocky Point State Park. / Rocky Point State Pine Barrens Preserve / Rocky Point Park. The Paumanok path trail head is just down the road from the site. The Paumanok trail goes from here to Montauk point.

Below are the photos of the stands for they Golf Range they are still standing and in pretty good condition. Probably completely still usable. The only thing is the stairs to the second level are missing. Also it has been turned into sort of a skateboard park which is actively used.

PS I will also be exploring the Rocky Point State Pine Barrens Preserve in detail soon as it looks like it may have been a state campground at one point possibly.
